Pictures Finally!!!

This is the cottage I stayed in the first week.
Very picturesque!
This was my back yard. The picnic table was a perfect spot for studying.
At the Jacobs. A sendoff for three girls headed off to the A-team.

Their backyard is perfect for get togethers.
With Lorraine Hall and Lillian Lindbergh at Blenheim Palace.
The palace was quite impressive!
Stepping into the British soldier's shoes.
We don't really fit the part.

But it was fun anyways!
I'm not quite sure what I am supposed to be. A pageboy?
Little Red Riding Hood
This is only part of the castle.
The gardens.
I heard part of Pride and Prejudice was filmed here.
As well as other BBC films.

This is where Winston Churchill proposed to his wife.
The rose garden.

A waterfall on the grounds.
Quite lovely!
This lake is also part of the grounds at Blenheim Palace.
Complete with water lillies.

Lillian in the reeds.

Inside the Blenheim Palace chapel

The grounds also hold a butterfly house.

This is where C.S. Lewis used to meet for lunch.
Apparently, C.S. Lewis wrote much of the Narnian series here!

Inside the Eagle and Child with Kristin.
On a tour through Oxford.

The Radcliffe Cathedral. One of the main Bodleian libraries.

Punting boats. Quite difficult but a lot of fun!
Another of England's picturesque pubs.
On the way to the cottage.
A display in the Museum of Natural History.
One of my favorite exhibits:)
A closer look at the dodo bird.

Vicky and Auguzit.
I'm part of the picture. Honest!
At Christ Church College, the site of the Harry Potter hall.
A glimpse of the famous Harry Potter hall.

The famous Harry Potter staircase.
Inside the Christ Church cathedral.
One of my favorite doorways so far.
Still inside the Christ Church cathedral
The grounds of Christ Church are quite expansive.

Alice Day!!!

There were events and exhibits all over town.

Including pens full of rabbits.
And giant croquet sets.

Girls dressed up for the occasion.
And a giant chess set.
Ready for players.

Lunch with Kristin on Alice day.
The weather was beautiful!
Alice in Wonderland illustrated by Salvador Dali
A first edition.
The famous Norrington Room.

Alice's birthday party.

At Jesus College.
The building on the left is where I stayed the second week before moving to graduate housing.

The Jesus College grounds.

The dining room where I ate breakfast every morning.
More of Jesus College
